Arad Atrium Center is a commercial and entertainment center project combining architectural values together with financial and economical efficiency. It is developed to be a contribution to the urban life and become the landmark of Arad city.
For the design Casiopea team has won honorary award from the Mayor of Arad and Best Shopping Centre of the Year 2010 Romania from SEE Real Estate. Arad Atrium Center is a city center project in a very noisy and active space. It is accessed through a six-lane street with a tramway line in the middle. On the left side, there is the main train station, and on the right side the regional bus station is situated. Here, we have created an open urban square linked to the big atrium on the other side. During the concept design we considered that the street activity should be reflected in the design scheme, which is here very lively, with generous lighting and signalization. Casiopea created a highly elegant and quality-oriented mall serving a rapidly-growing demand in Romania for quality-oriented venues. This project, being developed and built during financial crisis times. It is one of the very few projects handed over in 2010. in Romania.
